Course Description:
Auditing is essential for successful management systems. Our 6-day program prepares delegates for ISO 45001:2018 qualification and teaches them how to conduct audits effectively. The course covers practical and theoretical aspects of Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.
ISO 45001 is the global standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, replacing OHSAS 18001. Our training equips participants with the skills to conduct Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&S MS) audits using recognized principles and methods.
Participants learn to plan and execute OH&S MS audits in line with ISO 19011 guidelines. Through practical exercises, they practice key aspects such as ISO 45001 requirements, auditing principles, evidence gathering, team leadership, interviewing, nonconformity reporting, and audit report preparation.
Upon completion, participants can take the exam and apply for a CQI-IRCA-approved ISO 45001 Lead Auditor credential, demonstrating proficiency in auditing organizations according to industry standards.
Objective:
The primary goal of this course is to raise awareness within organizations about the fundamental requirements of the OHSAS standard. It aims to provide participants with practical knowledge on how these requirements can be tailored to align with the organization's processes, products, people, and stakeholders.
Benefits to an Organization:
The course offers a comprehensive system for safeguarding and enhancing the health and safety of employees, subcontractors, and the public. It plays a crucial role in bolstering an organization's corporate reputation and trustworthiness among stakeholders, regulators, customers, potential clients, and the public. Additionally, the course enhances incident investigation procedures and ensures compliance with legal obligations.
