Most employer accustomed candidates having the above mention qualification as competent safety professional with excellent grounding in essential health and safety knowledge. This is so with the qualification meeting the academic requirement for a technician membership (Tech IOSH) in the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), and an associate membership (AIIRSM) in the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) among others.
